Shortly before WWE showed out about 32 of its staff members. Including referees, producers and coaches, including some superstars. A few days before that WWE released the record champions The Revival (Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson). Now both these superstars have debuted in WWE’s enemy company AEW.
Actually, The Revival debuted here as FTR. Both entered when Young Bucks and Matt Hardy defeated Private Party and Joey Janella in a tag match. After the bout, Butcher and Blade attacked the Young Bucks. Meanwhile, former WWE Tag Team Champions Revival (FTR’s Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) entered the car and saved the Young Bucks.
How was the revival journey in WWE?
In 2014, The Revival stepped into NXT and slowly made its way into the ring. After some time both of them won the NXT Tag Team Championship. Seeing good work in wrestling, he was pushed to the main roster in 2017.
The Revival did not get many matches initially after making it to the main roster but later caught the rhythm and won the Raw Tag Team Championship and SmackDown Tag Team Championship. With these impressive wins, The Revival created the first WWE team to win the tag team title in all three brands. The Revival had not been seen on TV since February, almost deciding that he should be thrown out of the company soon. On 10 April 2020, WWE announced that Revival had been released.
Well, now The Revival (FTR) has taken over AEW and very soon fans will get to see the FTR and Young Bucks’ Dream Match. Will have to see how their future will be in this company.
